Empty Promises

33-37"And don't say anything you don't mean. This counsel is embedded deep in our traditions. You only make things worse when you lay down a smoke screen of pious talk, saying, 'I'll pray for you,' and never doing it, or saying, 'God be with you,' and not meaning it. You don't make your words true by embellishing them with religious lace. In making your speech sound more religious, it becomes less true. Just say 'yes' and 'no.' When you manipulate words to get your own way, you go wrong.

I learned a technique about indroducing yourself from the Today show. It's when you get introduced, meet the person halfway then reach out to shake the hand of the person you're getting introduced to. In that way,you show your confidence.
Our fathers taught us not to get intimidated easily. It is the confidence not in what we can do but in what God can do. Bacause at the end of the day we all are "equal". God sees us the same.
I tried the technique i learned from the show. I think the person got the surprise of his life.

A small girl asked for some coins from us tonight. She said she was hungry and didn’t have anything to eat. We just told her to come back after a few minutes.
