Small church! Big Dreams
Johia-Lucban on its 10 years existence continue to dream big as we declare that 2009 will be the year of the Lord's favor, for we believed that no matter how tough & impossible a situation may be, but when the favor of the Lord is with us everything can change. Johia-Lucban dreams of having to acquire a 1500 sq meter lot and build our own worship center. the cost of lot only is 2,25 M pesos located at a newly developed subdivision called Urban Rich.
REAL HELP PLEDGE SYSTEM
The New Testament church had always set the example of community. They share everything and were united not only in faith, but also in tangible matters. So, when one is in need, the rest of the community extends help in whatever capacity possible.
The Next Level: from Love springs Glory
There was a time when God took me to a different level of intimacy with Him through my worship life. Never before has he accompanied me while doing the most mundane task and in the most ordinary places. In the bus, while doing my craft project, even in the bathroom I would sing worship songs and He would come and touch my heart.
The Lord is sweet and beautiful!
Then one day, it all stopped.
Have I done something wrong? Do I have an un-confessed sin? Lord, what’s happening? I wanted to see and be with Him so bad. Then I felt Him say
I praise God . . .
God has charted a path , a very clear and precise path for people around the world. We have come to a time when we , as God's people need not be intimidated of what is going on around the world because we serve a great and loving God. We serve HIM not for the rewards, which most of the time we enjoy, like peace , wisdom, understanding, but more so to have a loving people in the community who truly cares for one another with an outward concern and love. Sometimes in our trials we do not see HIS purpose, but it is there.
A Woman's Faith
I attended the 2pm service last Sunday, and I can say that God has moved me. My faith is as if being restored, thanks to a woman's faith.
The pictures say it, and truly God is marvelous. I put a memory verse in one of the photos, and I hope that through these I'll be able to touch at least a life or two.
